A parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning. Jesus used parables to speak to the crowds in a way that all who really wanted to know would find out and those who didn't care to learn would go away wondering.

Sometimes you need to stop something before you can start another. Or get rid of one thing before you can add something else.

IF you belong to the Lord, then His light is in you. Are you letting it shine?

Life, like buildings, need to be built on something solid. There's nothing more solid that the Word of God!

Jesus gave His life to provide forgiveness. If you've received that forgiveness, how then should you treat those who've wronged you?

How many times have you had your plans spoiled? Why? Don't you know the future?

Since I can't actually know your heart or read your mind, maybe I shouldn't bother trying. I have enough of my own stuff to take care of!

An old gospel song says, "Little is much when God is in it..."

You need to be careful who you hang around with - bad stuff seems to be contagious!
