Book #1 - "Twas the Night Jesus Was Born"

Terry wrote several stories as lessons for the children's ministry at his church, but when the time came for a Christmas story, he felt like it ought to be a poem - you know, like the secular poem known more commonly by it's first line, "Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house..."  So, he decided to try writing the Nativity story from Luke 2 as a poem and called it "Twas the NIght Jesus Was Born."  He immediately wrote the story for the following week and called it, "The Visit of the Magi." With encouragement from church folks and family to "do something with them", Terry finally looked into getting the first one published and a couple of years later his first book was published!  A year later, "The Visit..." was published and others are on the way.

Meanwhile, "Twas the Night..." sold 650 copies in its first 6 1/2 months out!  Terry had set up a web site for the book and a Facebook page, and then began to set up book singings.  Signings at the mall in his hometown of Forsyth, IL, a local history museum, a bookstore in Branson, MO, another in Springfield, IL and three bookstores in Wichita, KS, as well as a church in Iowa helped boost sales and spread the word.  Check out the book and read what others are saying about this great little book for children of all ages and be sure to get your copy, soon.
